    Christmas is a special time for many of us. However, this Christmas for 5 of our women was overshadowed by the arrival of a letter. Instead of enjoying the holiday season, these 5 survivors were given a devastating letter refusing their asylum application.

    Two weeks ago, was Anti-Slavery Day in the UK – an opportunity to raise awareness about modern slavery, share good practice and highlight gaps in services and policy. The Day is an effective platform for anti-trafficking and support services to get modern slavery into the public conscience.

    Sheffield Dance Society first started giving dance classes for survivors at the Snowdrop Project back in 2014. 3 years later, we have seen the provision of dance classes continue to grow; more and more survivors are seeing the benefit of having some time to unwind with friends during the week.
