Trusts and Major donors
Make a major gift as an individual or trust and help us to right the wrongs of one of the worst human rights abuses of our time, by returning dignity and agency to the individuals who have survived this crime.
With the support of major donors and trusts, we are able to develop innovative solutions to the complex needs of survivors. We want every survivor to have stable accommodation, a liveable income, a safe community, a sense of self-worth and the opportunity to reach their full potential.
In partnering with us you would be supporting:
- One of the first charities in the UK to provide long-term support
- A charity that is practically meeting a real need
- A better future for survivors of trafficking and slavery
Examples of previous trusts and major donors have allowed us to start providing therapeutic support, set up a small grants programme, deliver a tailored renovation service, buy new bedding and towels for each person and their children who are referred.
Your donation is vital to us but we also recognise how important it is to you too. We would love to talk to you about what you are interested in supporting. If you would like to discuss giving life changing support, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 079881 997983.
Thank you to the following organisations for their valued support:
We believe that bringing an end to trafficking and modern slavery will take the collaborative work of the public, private and non-profit sector and we are keen to forge those links. We know that this looks very different for different companies. If you are a corporate business that is passionate about standing up to slavery, we would love to talk to you to discuss how, together, we can say no to this terrible human rights abuse and restore the lives of those who survive.
Why not consider rallying a group in your organisation to run a fundraising challenge or event? Working together on an exciting shared goal can help develop employees’ motivation and energy at work and develop their personal and professional skills. Read our fundraising page for more ideas.
Providing work placement opportunities
Proving work placements can be a life changing opportunity for any survivor of trafficking. The chance to gain skills, references and independence is vital. We have developed a ‘readiness for work’ programme for survivors to take before starting a work placement with an organisation. We will work closely with an organisation to develop a safe placement for both the employer and the survivor. Read about our work-placement partnership with ‘The Co-op’.
A number of organisations will provide match funding for any employee that is raising money for a charity. Check whether your organisation has a CSR statement where you can request support for your efforts through match funding.
Financial donations allows us to develop innovative solutions to the complex needs of survivors. Alternatively, other corporate organisations have sponsored our events or fundraising costs to ensure all the money raised goes directly to beneficiaries.
Gifts in kind
Your organisation could support survivors of human trafficking by donating products such as paint or white goods for house renovations; sewing machines for sewing group; Christmas presents or pro bono support.
