We are looking to recruit for the position of Volunteer Administrator to the Board of Trustees!
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate volunteer to support the governance and strategic work of the board through the administration of meetings and minutes.
In your role you would be required to attend board meetings every 2 months to take accurate notes, set the agenda with the CEO and the Chair of Trustees, send out minutes in a timely manner and adhere to a high level of confidentiality.
You would not be taking on the responsibility of a board member, but would be key to its effectiveness and would gain a deep knowledge and insight in to support services for survivors of trafficking. This role would be ideal for anyone wanting to gain board experience without the responsibility of being a board member or someone who would like to use their skill set in this way to support our work. It will also give the opportunity to learn about the anti-trafficking sector.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience of minute taking and administrative tasks/effective administration
Proficient in Microsoft Word and electronic communication
The ability to adhere to strict confidentiality
A good ability to summarise and communicate effectively through written communication in a timely manner
Passionate about tackling modern slavery
Align with our values and ethos
Have no conflicts of interest
