Eila first started working with the Snowdrop Project to help set up the counselling in 2014. She then started volunteering in 2015 before becoming employed as a Senior Counsellor one and a half days week in 2016. Eila started counselling training 2006 before completing a diploma in 2008. Since then she has worked as a counsellor in the NHS, prison, substance misuse and in private practice. She is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), an accredited Counselling Practitioner with the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC), an accredited Interpersonal Psychotherapist with IPTUK and a Person Centered Experiential Therapist. Eila is also mental health nurse trained. She has lived in Sheffield for a number of years with her husband, 2 cats and a dog. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, gardening and reading.
